Hoarders deserve no sympathy:Malik Iqbal Channar

Lahore:Provincial Minister for Prisons, Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar has said that the elements involved in profiteering and hoardering in the holy month of Ramzan deserve no any sympathy and strict action should be taken against them. Punjab government by announcing Ramzan package worth four billion rupees has tried to reduce price-hike as a result of which edibles are available to the masses at affordable rates in Ramzan Bazaars.

These views were expressed by him during surprise visits to various Ramzan Bazaars, here today. Provincial Minister said that prices of different commodities in Ramzan Bazaars are being maintained at a reasonable level due to the strict monitoring by special magistrates. He said that government has directed all flour mills to provide quality flour in Ramzan Bazaars. He said that strict action should be taken against flour mills violating the instructions of the government.
