Lahore:Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Malik Ahmad Ali has said that government machinery has been activated for conducting raids to ensure the quality and prices of daily use items in Sastay Ramzan Bazaars and open market throughout the province. “Ehtram-e-Ramzan Ordinance” is being strictly implemented and people and media should identify the flaws so that the arrangements could further be improved, he added.
He expressed these views during surprise visit to Ramzan Bazaars in Dera Ghazi Khan, Kot Chatha, Rajanpur, Fazalpur and Jampur. He said that Punjab government is giving a subsidy of four billion rupees for the provision of quality daily use items to the people in 334 Ramzan Bazaars of the province. He said that recommendations would be made to Punjab Chief for setting up of Ramzan Bazaars at the level of big towns.
