Commissioner Lahore Jawad Rafique visits Ramazan Bazars

Commissioner Lahore Division Jawad Rafique Malik today paid surprise visit to Islampura, Karim Park, Baron Dehli Gate, Tajpura Scheme, parking ground Shalimar and Main G.T. Road Jalo mor Ramazan Bazars and checked the quality standard and price of edible items including vegetables fruit, pulses and meat in the Ramazan Bazars. Additional Commissioner Dr. Usman, TMOs Data Gunj Bakhsh Town, Aziz Bhatti Town, Ravi Town, Shalimar Town and Wagha Town also accompanied him.

Commissioner took serious notice of shortage of meat and some of vegetables before noon in Islampura and Karim Park Ramazan Bazars. He directed the TMOs Data Gunj Bakhsh and Ravi Towns to maintain the balance between demand and supply according to the requirement of consumers and to ensure an implementation of prices fixed by the CDGL and quality of the essential items. He made clear that profiteers will not be tolerated at any cost. The Commissioner directed the TMO Data Gunj Bakhsh Town to improve the conditions of Karim Park Ramazan Bazar and supply of essential items be made in abundance so that the consumer might face difficulty in the acquisition of the same. MNA Bilal Yasin while talking to the consumers said that Ramazan Bazars had been set up for facilitating the consumers.
