Ban on Sheesha extended

Lahore:Punjab government has extended the order issued by Administrator City District Government Lahore regarding ban on smoking of sheesha w.e.f. 21.07.2012 to 19.08.2012 within the revenue limits of District Lahore.

According to the order, smoking of sheesha is prohibited in public places including restaurants, cafes, clubs etc of Lahore district.
This step has been taken in view of the fact that sheesha smoking in Lahore district is increasing day by day which is not only injurious to public health but has also become a source of unethical and immoral activities besides sheesha smoking also promotes unhealthy activities and creates resentment among the general public.
