Austria are working in energy sector in Pakistan:Austrian Ambassador Axel Wech

Ambassador of Austria in Pakistan, Mr. Axel Wech called on Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. Cooperation in various sectors and matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. MNA Rana Mahmood ul Hassan, Secretary P&D and Additional Secretary Energy were also present on the occasion.

Talking to the Austrian Ambassador, the Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is facing shortage of energy which is leaving negative impact on its economy. He said that conducive atmosphere has been created for investment in Punjab and the Austrian investors can benefit from the prospects of investment in energy sector in Punjab.

Austrian Ambassador in Pakistan, Axel Wech said that various companies of Austria are working in energy sector in Pakistan. He said that cooperation in energy sector with Punjab will be enhanced and Austrian investors are interested in executing hydro projects in Punjab.
