Pervaiz Elahi concerns over Punjab law & order

Lahore:Deputy Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader Ch Parvez Elahi has expressed deep concern over deterioration in all fields in particular over worst law and order situation in the Punjab and said that the Chief Minister has no right to rule if 100 dacoities are being committed daily in every district of the province. Addressing a gathering of notables and former nazims and naib nazims in PP-110 in Gujrat today, Ch Parvez Elahi said that during all tenures of Shahbaz Sharif there is not a single project of people’s welfare like those started and launched during our tenure.

He said that the fate of the people could not be changed for better merely through talking. Ch Parvez Elahi said that peoples’ love and affection for our family has reached third generation and this is our greatest asset and credit. He said that if we are not in power, then the workers love and affection for us always increases and in response to their love, we serve them still better.

He announced that a new furniture centre has been got approved for Gujrat which would be set up at a cost of Rs 330 million. He said the centre would be equipped with latest modern machinery and European standard courses would be held in it which would increase quality of furniture in Pakistan and boost the country’s exports.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that Punjab is suffering from worst administrative and economic crisis; working of all departments is deteriorating due to all powers vested in one person. He said that the doctors are protesting, people are dying in the hospitals, even medicines are not available and the Punjab Govt. is not solving any problem due to its false ego.
