Seraiki province is the matter of point scoring:Malik Ahmad Ali

Lahore:Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Irrigation, Malik Ahmad Ali has said that those who are talking about Seraiki province are only point scoring and neither they have any sympathy with Seraiki people nor they are sincere to fulfill their promises.

These views were expressed by him while addressing an open katchery at Canal Rest House Thengi Vehari. District Coordination Officer Ehsan Bhutta, Chief Engineer Canals Sheikh Murtaza, DG Agriculture Extension Dr. Najam Ali Buttar, MPA Shumela Aslam, Director Livestock Mansoor Ahmad were present on this occasion.

In response to a complaint regarding provision of canal water, Provincial Minister reprimanded the Chief Engineer Canals Multan and XEN Western bar Vehari, said that Punjab government is providing resources to the officers for resolving the problems of the people and not creating problems for them. He said that link of any government officer with influential water thieves is intolerable and action will be taken in case of any complaint against the persons responsible.
