CM listens public complaints at tent office

Lahore:A representative delegation of office-bearers and residents of different residential societies met the Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, at his Tent Office, Minar-e-Pakistan, here today, and apprised him of their problems relating to law and order, crime, residential facilities and other issues of the residential schemes. Provincial Minister Ch. Abdul Ghafoor, Members Assembly Muhammad Afzal Khokhar, Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar, Muslim League Leader Sajid Chaudhary, Senior Member Board of Revenue, Secretaries of Housing and Cooperative Departments, Commissioner and DCO Lahore, and Director General LDA were also present during the meeting.

Talking to the delegation, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that ensuring protection of life, honour and property, alongwith promoting commercial activities, is the foremost responsibility of the state and the police. He said police would have to play an efficacious role in providing protection to life and property of the citizens and eradication of crime from the society, and warned that strict action would be taken against those government officers who will show negligence in their duties.

CM also heard the complaints of citizens, who had come from various districts of Punjab.He issued on-the-spot instructions for the redressal of their grievances.
