More than one thousand drs recruited in Punjab

Lahore:Health department has issued orders of the appointments and postings of 1050 medical officers selected through Punjab Public Service Commission in various teaching hospitals included 850 female medical officers whereas 200 male medical officers.

In addition 400 doctors have been recruited so far in various teaching hospitals through walk-in-interviews. The spokesman said that health department Punjab has also recruited 96 senior doctors and posted in three teaching hospitals, of which, 34 senior doctors in Jinnah Hospital, 24 in Sir Ganga Ram hospital and 38 in Bahawal Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur. These doctors included senior registrar, assistant professor, associate professor and professor.
