Young Drs strike continue on16th days

Young doctor’s strike continues on sixteenth day in Punjab while two more patients died for not being treated in govt hospitals in the city. DCO noor ul ameen mengal visited different hospitals and monitored the medical facilities being provided to the poor patients. Punjab Government has released 24 Drs after their undertaking that they would respect their oath and do the duty by serving ailing people.
Majority of the young Doctors did not join their duty on Tuesday too and tried to shut hospitals in different cities but police deputed for maintaining law & order there did not permit them. The cops dispersed them by using force.
On the other hand Army Core medical teams and senior Drs continue their job to serve the poor patients though they were in less numbers comparative to patients but they didn’t show any irritation rather they did the calmly.
The Punjab government spokesman announces mercy for those Drs who will join duty voluntarily but strict action would be taken against those who will support strike by any means, he added. on the other hand Young Drs did not accept the government offer and refuse to join duty without release of arrested Drs.
