Punjab Govt failure has proved: Ch Parvez Elahi

Lahore:Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that by calling the Army in the Punjab for civilian matters has proved the failure of Shahbaz Sharif government.

Speaking at the reception hosted in his honour by PML Punjab General Ch Zaheeruddin Khan here today, Ch Parvez Elahi said that Shahbaz Sharif alone is responsible for the worst ever administrative and financial crisis in the history of the province. The reception was attended by large number of Muslim League leaders and workers and journalists.

He said that due to wrong attitude of the Provincial Govt, the patients are dying without getting treatment and the doctors are locked up in jails. He said dramatist “Khadam-e-A’ala” spends one hour in the tent and evening in Murree.
Continuing. He said that the present rulers of the province had allocated Rs 19 billion for power generation in the new budget and not a single penny was spent to produce electricity. He reiterated that under the formula presented by Ch Shujat Hussain energy crisis can be resolved within a matter of days with provinces making their contributions.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that we have stressed upon the President and the Prime Minister for resolving the energy crisis and the Balochistan issue ahead of the election and they are taking necessary steps in this regard.

He charged that mega projects of public welfare started by our govt including Lahore Rail Service have been made victim of political revenge by Shahbaz Sharif. He said that most part of the Ring Road was completed during our tenure but the bridges they are claiming to complete in record period are collapsing in record period. He advised those passing through Kalma Chowk to take care of their safety themselves.
