PGMA cancelled Drs summer holidays

Lahore:Post Graduate Medical Institute has cancelled summer holidays of its teaching staff. As many as 8 women medical officers and 35 house officers joined Lahore General Hospital today. A number of 1238 patients were treated in the morning shift of OPD where as hundreds were given medical aid at Emergency ward free of cost. Moreover a number of 65 major and minor operations were also conducted.

This was informed by the Principal PGMI and LGH Professor Dr. Tariq Salah ud Din here today. The Principal along with MS LGH Dr. Muhammad Hassan and other administrative doctors took round of Out Door and Emergency wards. He said that medical care is very sensitive field and those who are entrusted with the duty to serve the patients should focus on their job. He said that all the staff of LGH is ready to serve the ailing humanity.

According to the Hospital Administration, the hospital’s professors, associate professors, assistant professors, Sr. registrars, medical officers and PGRs served at OPD and Emergency wards on Monday.
