CM visits MM Alam Road

Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited MM Alam Road early in the morning today. Director General LDA, Ahad Cheema gave the Chief Minister a detailed briefing on the proposed extension project of MM Alam Road stretching from Hussain Chowk to Main Boulevard Gulberg. Member Provincial Assembly Dr. Saeed Elahi and representatives of traders were also present on the occasion.

Talking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Punjab government is spending billions of rupees on infrastructure development in the province. He said, in accordance with laid down policy of the Punjab government, all development works are being executed expeditiously, alongwith ensuring transparency and quality. He said that construction work regarding three-lane MM Alam Road on both sides would soon be initiated and the completion of the project will facilitate traders and citizens of the area. He also directed to provide parking facility for cars along the road.

During his briefing, DG LDA Ahad Cheema informed that the process of pre-qualification of contractors has been completed whereas MM Alam Road extension project would be initiated within next few days.
