CM visited Allama Iqbal Road extension project

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif visited Allama Iqbal Road extension project early in the morning today. Member National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Member Provincial Assembly Mian Mohsin Latif, Commissioner and District Coordination Officer Lahore, Managing Director WASA and senior officers of NESPAK and other departments were also present on the occasion. Director General Lahore Development Authority informed the Chief Minister about the pace of widening of Allama Iqbal Road.

The Chief Minister directed that the project should be completed as early as possible. Talking to the people on the occasion the Chief Minister said that government is providing modern transport facilities to the masses through implementing various projects. He said that widening of Allama Iqbal Road will result in availability of high standard travelling facilities to the people besides the flow of traffic will also improve resulting in time saving. He said that government is fully aware of the problems of people due to implementation of the project therefore the departments concerned have been directed to complete the project on time.
