CM Punjab addressing rally against loadshedding at thokhr

Lahore:Chief Minister Pubjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that the entire nation is upset due to Asif Zardari and his corrupt cronies. He said that the load shedding has ruined the country whereas Ali Baba and Forty Thieves sitting in air-conditioned palaces of Islamabad are destroying the country’s economy. He said that until Ali Baba and Forty Thieves are removed, load shedding cannot come to an end.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was addressing a public rally taken out against load shedding on Multan Road Thokar Niaz Beg today. Men, women and children in a large number attended the rally and raised slogans for ending load shedding.

Addressing the rally, Shahbaz Sharif said that the circular debt has reached 400 billion rupees due to corruption of Ali Baba and Forty Thieves which is a proof of the fact that the looters sitting in Islamabad have been plundering the dues of electricity and oil supplying companies and their agents have been involved in the theft of electricity and gas. He said that the problem of shortage of electricity can be resolved overnight if the amount of corruption deposited in Switzerland is returned, the loans written off on political grounds are paid and the billions of rupees looted in fertilizer sector are recovered. He said that it is ironical that 700 MWs electricity of Punjab’s share has been snatched. The Chief Minister said that these people wanted to make Punjab an orphan but he made it clear that Punjab will not become an orphan as brave people live here. He said that on the one hand an orphan girl loses her life in a hospital due to financial constraints but on the other hand the convicted Prime Minister and President Zardari spend crores of rupees on useless visits to London and America and stay in luxurious hotels.
The Chief Minister said that Haris, labourers, farmers, students, traders, industrialists and people are deprived of electricity and economy is being ruined. Shahbaz Sharif said that load shedding is terrorism which is destroying the economy. He said that if Ali Babar and Forty Thieves are not removed, they will destroy the country’s economy. He asked the people to remove thieves and plunderers and recover the looted money from them. He asked the people to support Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and PML-N for saving the country. People raised slogans of Go Zardari Go enthusiastically and demanded immediate ending of load shedding.
