Schools should strictly monitored,DCO Lahore ordered

Lahore:District Coordination Officer Lahore Noor Ul Amin Mengal has directed to all District Officers to ensure monitoring of schools and attendance of teachers and other staff and all headmasters should ensure attendance of teachers and other staff in their concerned schools. Education department should take over the schools buildings which have been completed. He expressed these views while chairing a district review committee meeting of education department at Nadir hall today. He said that funds will be increased to provide maximum education facilities in next budget keeping in view the requirement of Education department. DCO, Lahore ordered to improve cleanliness system in schools. DCO, Lahore showed his displeasure on absence of teachers & other staff and unsatisfactory performance of schools at Wahga town and directed to concerned officers to ensure attendance. DCO, Lahore said that action will be taken against absent teachers and staff under rules & regulations. He ordered to rationalize the students & teachers ratio in schools and this process should be completed in summer vacations. He said that funds of missing facilities should be utilized timely and transparently. He directed to EDO (education) to take over the completed buildings of schools and under construction buildings will be completed till 15 June. EDO (education), DMO, DOs and DDOs attended the meeting.
