Dr Asad Aslam appointment on 5 Administrative Post challenged

Lahore:The appointment of Prof Dr Asad Aslam Khan on the 5 Administrative Post I.e. Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University, Pro VC KEMU, Professor of Opthalmology Mayo Hospital, Director General/Principal Punjab Institute of Preventive Opthalmogy PIPO/College of Allied Vision Sciences and National Coordinator for Prevention of Blindness has been challenged by the renowned Lawyer Noshab A Khan Advocate in Lahore High Court Lahore. The petitioner has prayed to the Honourable court that these 5 posts are extremely important posts and have a separate job descriptions. The appointment of one single doctor on these 5 posts is affecting the quality of service delivery in these institutions and is also affecting the patient management. The petitioner has prayed that there are senior professors who are eligible for these posts but the Govt is not bothered to appoint 5 different Professor Doctors on these seats. Noshab A Khan advocate has prayed to the Honourable court to appoint 5 different Professors on these 5 posts to allow smooth functioning of these 5 different posts. The petitioner further prayed that Dr. Asad Aslam Khan may kindly be restrained to continue working on any of these four posts and his notification may kindly be set aside
