Machineries Would Go To Waste Without Doctors

Lahore(PR):There are 47 seats of consultant doctors lying vacant at Lahore Children Hospital, Lahore for the last 2 years and out of them there are 3 seas of Associate Professors, 11 Assistant Professor and 33 Senior Registrars seats are lying vacant. Govt. of Punjab has badly failed to fill these seats despite a number of attempts in last 2 years.

YDA Office bearers Dr. Rana Sohail, Dr. Salman Kazmi, Dr. Talha Sherwani, Dr. Ghulam Qasim, Dr. Murtaza Bloch, Dr. Muhammad Khawar Khan, Dr. Shahid Dreshik, Dr. Waqas Gondal, Dr. Shehzad, Dr. Asim, Dr. Shams, Dr. Muhammad Azhar and Dr. Muhammad Amjad have showed their deep concern on the situation that the govt. was interested to build new hospitals and install new machineries in them but was least concerned about the fact that they lacked doctors and consultants.

They said that the only way to ire these consultants was to hire them at a special salary package otherwise these seats will always remain vacant and without filling them it was impossible to provide quality treatment care to the children.

Young doctors said that without doctors the buildings and machineries would go to waste.
